a childhood memory that i remember quite distinctly through all the other memories is when my friend kaleb and i were running around at garfield elementary jumping on walls like grasshoppers enjoying ourselves on a lovely saturday evening. i leapt up on to a ledge and began to sprint across it as though running for my life. although i did not notice, above my head happened to be the cieling. this was not your average ceiling. now let me tell you that this ceiling was more of what you could call upside down stairs. as i ran foward, like stairs, the ceiling got progressively closer and closer to me or my head for that matter. all of a sudden, the most excruciating pain possible was felt starting in my noggin and ending in my toes went through me. i hit my head so hard on the stair ceiling the roof closelined me on to my back and there i still felt yet another jolt of pain going through my whole back. i reached up to my head to feel the spot of impact and sure enough, a nice swimming pool of blood. i got up crying and started running towards my friends house, in pain and agony. when i aarrived at my friends house i showed his mom and they took me to the emergency room.
once in the emergeny room i began to calm myself taking very deep breathes. i got to my er room and the docters stapled me up like paper. from then on i was free to leave just good as new, with the exception of a missing chink of scalp.
